MISSION STATEMENT: The mission of the Detention Center is four-fold:
To provide a safe, secure environment for the incarceration of persons admitted to the facility by various agencies within the Criminal Justice System.
To comply with Federal and State regulations on the operation of the facility and in the performance of the staffs' official duties.
To provide meaningful programs for inmates in the areas of resocialization, education, self-esteem, recreation and self-help.
To provide quality training for all staff in accordance with State and Federal guidelines and Accreditation standards.
Inmates in General Population in A-1 and Adminstrative Segregation in B-2 visitation schedule is as follows:
Inmates housed on the 1st Tier of A1 and B-2 visitation is Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday - 8:00PM -10:00PM
Inmates housed on the 2nd Tier of A1 and B-2 visitation is Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday - 8:00PM - 10:00PM
Due to the nature of this Housing Unit, A-1's visitation does not go by the first letter of the inmate's last name. It goes by the tier the inmate is assigned too regardless of his last name.
Inmates in General Population A-2, B-1 and Pre-Class/Maximum Security B-3 with the last names...
beginning with A-L will have visitation Monday/Wednesday/Saturday 7 p.m. - 10 p.m.
beginning with M-Z will have visitation Tuesday/Thursday/Sunday 7 p.m. - 10 p.m.
Inmate Worker B-5 visiting: Same as above, plus Saturday and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. (Contact visitation).
Childrens' visiting days are on Saturday (A-M) and Sunday (N-Z) from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Children are defined as any youth under the age of 17. A maximum of three children will be allowed per visit. A LEGAL parent or guardian who is at least 21 must accompany them.
Administrative Segregation SH, IH, and certain females in B-1: Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 8:30 a.m. through 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 through 3 p.m. PRIOR APPROVAL BY SHIFT COMMANDER IS REQUIRED.
