The Carroll County Detention Center is determined to protect the public and keep institutional safety while providing programs that are intended to reduce the likelihood of inmate re-incarceration. It is our goal to return inmates to society in better condition physically and emotionally than when they were committed to our custody. However, that decision of rehabilitation is a personal decision that can only be made by the individual inmate. This is all done through the Jail Standards - Courts and the Laws of the State of Kentucky.
All payments of bonds must be in cash only. All persons bonding will be charged jail fees and a bond fee totaling $110. This will be added to the bond. Some offenses have a pre-set bond all others have to be set by a judge. There are ROR or OR bonds, Surety Bonds, Unsecured Bonds, Cash Bonds, Partially Secured Bonds, and Property Bonds. These different types have different conditions attached to them.
