The Henderson Detention Center is located in Henderson, Nevada, the second largest city in the state. Their belief is that the loss of freedom is sufficient punishment and that all inmates should be treated with respect and dignity. The detention center recently went through an extensive expansion and renovation project and is now considered a state of the art facility. It is located at 243 Water Street in the lower level of the Bob Swadell Justice building.
During business hours, outsiders may post bail in Henderson Justice
Court or Henderson Municipal Court, both located at 243 Water Street,
Henderson, NV 89015. Business hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on
Mondays through Thursdays, excluding holidays.
To bail someone out after business hours, go to the "Jail bail gate,"
located directly behind the courthouse building off of S. Texas Ave.
Whether a person may pay bail by cash, bail bonds or other forms of payment depends upon the inmate's criminal charges.
Inmates are permitted to have two visits per week. Visiting hours are 8:00am to 11:00am or 1:00pm to 4:00pm Wednesday thru Sunday
