The King County Jail, Seattle Division is located at 500 5th Avenue, Seattle, WA. The facility became operational in 1986 and currently employs over 350 correctional staff.
Bring cash, cashier’s check or money order to the reception window at the King County Correctional Facility (KCCF) in Seattle or Regional Justice Center (RJC) in Kent. Money orders or Cashier checks must be made out to King County Dept of Adult & Juvenile Detention. Cashier's checks and money orders require verification prior to processing which may result in a delay of the release.
Valid identification is required for visiting. Children must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian (proof of legal guardianship is required). Cell phones are not allowed inside the facilities. Often friends and family ask to deposit funds on an inmates' account (or "books") at the time they visit. If you would like to do so, please be aware that funds may be deposited for an inmate and MUST be in the form of a Money Order or Cashier's Check.
