The Milwaukee County Sheriff presides over the Milwaukee County jail, known as the County Correctional Facility-South (CCF-S). This facility receives and maintains custody of all inmates in Milwaukee County who have been sentenced to serve one year or less. The Milwaukee County Sheriff only permits inmate visits by video to promote visitor and inmate safety, as well as the efficiency of the jail system.
