Sheriff James M. Winder works with the Salt Lake County Sheriff’s Office to protect the public through the booking and detention of individuals who pose a danger to society. While incarcerated, inmates are provided humane care and undergo rehabilitation programs to assist them in avoiding criminal activity upon release.
You can pay a fine or bail in person at the jail or via Western Union. To make a payment follow these instructions: (1) Look up the prisoner's Sheriff's Office prisoner number (SO#) online or by calling 385-468-8400. (2) Choose your payment method and follow the instructions for that method.
