The Elmore County Sheriff Office strives to do the best job possible and readily The Elmore County Jail houses inmates for agencies within Elmore County and for the Elmore County Sheriff's Office. Inmates are incarcerated for crimes ranging from violations, misdemeanors and felonies. Inmates are allowed visitation privileges, phone privileges, commissary privileges, exercise privileges and may have money brought to the jail for their use. The Elmore County Jail accepts money orders ONLY - NO CASH. Before visiting an inmate please call and speak with a corrections officer about the inmate you are wishing to visit. The actual visiting hours vary depending on the following factors:
The day of the week.
Where the inmate is housed.
The inmate's sex.
Whether or not it is a Holiday.
Each inmate is allowed one or two visits, ranging from 15 minutes to one hour in length each week. Inmates with special privileges are allowed additional visits.
